For pretty much my entire life, I've been really bad at anything that has to do math. I've never gotten an A in any of my past math or algebra classes, which never really bothered me, because I usually passed the class by the end of the year. However, in geometry last year, I "passed" with a D-. Even though I was happy that I didn't have to take that class again, I knew I could've done better. I am a hard worker but certain events that year slowed me down and I fell behind, big time. I'd miss church on many occasions because I was so stressed out and needed to get caught up. All in all, that year was extremely difficult and I don't want a repeat of it.
I remember math was a challenging subject for me in middle school as well. Sixth grade was the worst year by far in middle school. I didn't like my teacher, the assignments were way too much, and I didn't even understand anything that was taught. Soon after my mom started to notice how bad I was doing, she hired a tutor for me which helped tremendously. The next years after that were difficult, but I felt more comfortable with asking my teachers for help.
So in conclusion, math is not my best subject. I feel better about this year, though. I'm all caught up on my assignments and I plan to stay that way. Maybe this will be the year that I finally end with an A. :)
